The Get-Away Gang

About Us

I’ve finally arrived to the blogging party, although about 25 years late. I’m Nicole Kitchener, a freelance writer/photographer who specializes mainly in equine and rural-living content. I own a small farm in Prince Edward Island, Canada, where I share life with eight horses, a beloved mutt named Marvin, three cats and my husband Guy. My Mom is around a lot too.

On my little blog, I’ll share stories and images of our experiences here on the farm and also feature profiles of people, places and, naturally, animals I find interesting.
